Support our Club
Our fundraising goal is to set up a resource which we can use to support our club in practical ways in the short term and to support projects etc in the longer term.
Donations can be made by anyone who wishes to support these goals, regardless of membership.
Spending of donated funds is decided by member input and votes, to ensure that we are representing our members at every step.
We are offering two options - GoFundMe page and Stripe - so that supporters can donate on the platform that best suits them and that they trust most.
Transparency
As always, the priority of the 1903 is to operate in a way that is transparent and member backed.
On that basis, we would like to confirm some details to reassure past or future donors as to how their donation will be handled.
- Regardless of donation platform, funds received are transferred to the 1903 bank acount
- Each donation is fully accounted for
- Each expense is fully accounted for
- Payments are made directly to suppliers
- Members receive regular updates on donations and expenses
